Pour moi, Paul McCartney s'est "empêché" de faire du Beatles après la scission du groupe, par excès d'honnêteté. On a ici un petit aperçu de ce que ça aurait pu donner s'il avait continué dans cette veine... Les harmonies typiques, le retour entre mineur et majeur, mélodie limpide, petites feintes rythmiques, la boîte à rythme ne le désert pas au contraire, entre tradition et modernité (modernité des années 80)... Un zeste de psychédélisme par dessus... L'équilibre parfait entre chanson absolument populaire, servie par le savoir faire harmonique d'un super musicien (totalement instinctif). Je le trouve particulièrement à sa place sur cette chanson. Paul a eu de grands succès solos, mais... il aurait pu marquer encore plus son époque.
